Sometimes you don't even have to comment

This piece of proposed legislation from Oklahoma speaks for itself.

The school would be required to reward the student with a good grade, or be considered in violation of the law. Even simple, factual information such as the age of the earth (4.65 billion years) would be subject to the student’s belief, and if the student answered 6,000 years based on his or her religious belief, the school would have to credit it as correct.

I can't wait to see the Jedis and the Pastafarians get a hold of this one. Not to mention the Scientologists and all the others.

Science Exam Question: How was the earth formed?

Answer: It was formed by a pack of giant turtles excreting cosmic space dust. Then the Goozlebeast came along and squished it all into a planet, and it's spit became our oceans.

Scoring: A+

If that doesn't scare you, then you don't deserve to be scared.
