Something about Japan

I have always been attracted to Japanese things. Why? I don't know. But my all-time favorite movie is Kurosawa's The Seven Samurai, and I find Japanese society and culture endlessly fascinating.

As if the point needed to be underscored, last month I went to the pet store and fell in love with this dog. I had never seen the breed before, and the owner told me it was from China. However, thanks to Garrett, I now know the truth - it's Japanese. It is called the Shiba Inu, and it is the first breed of dog I have ever seen that I really, really liked and wanted to take home. Has to wait until I have a house, though.

But I am pretty sure this is the dog for me.
